The moment the paddle dips into the emerald green Colorado River, one is transported back in time. Paddle past historic sites of the 1920's era government project that gave life to the desert southwest. Venture into the Black Canyon narrows to explore the historical site and take amazing photos after you have backed your kayak up into the Emerald Cave. This tour is a total of four miles on the Colorado River.

We booked this tour for my fiance's birthday, we were a group of four and our guide Ashley was awesome! She was super prepared with sunscreen, snacks, towels and she was very informative on the history and wildlife. We had a great day and we will definitely do it again soon! Highly recommend this tour for anyone who enjoys the outdoors! Also, you don't need to be experienced, Ashley gave us great instructions and we got comfortable in the kayaks in no time!

This was my favorite part of our trip. I had never kayaked before, and fell in love with it. The river is crystal clear because of the filtration that occurs further up river (if I recall correctly, it gets filtered at the Hoover Dam). I think this experience spoiled me though because not all rivers are this clean and not all this scenic. We did this tour in September so it was warm outside, but the river was cool. It felt great to get in the water when we stopped for lunch and during a break a long the way.

This was the most amazing awesome experience ever! The tour guide picked us up on the strip and had a great fun personality! Once we arrived all the staff were super kind and helpful as we all figured out what we were doing as this was my 1st ever kayaking experience. We had a group of 9 and 2 awesome tour guides! The journey was perfectly timed to enjoy the breathtaking beauty! Pictures do not even come close to what we saw. We enjoyed a great tasting fresh lunch on the beach with a little side hike and then traveled on. We we’re not rushed at all and the guides took time to tell us amazing stories from our surroundings. They also took fantastic pictures of all of us! This is definitely a MUST do attraction when visiting Las Vegas!!! I will definitely do it again because it was an absolutely priceless experience!!!

The whole story of the place seemed very interesting to us, nature and landscape. The guides kept the day nice, interesting and safe. We are gonna recommend this for sure.

This was an amazing experience and one you need to add to and then check off your bucket list. From sending a message on FB to being offered extra water before we headed back, we got white glove service by every employee. They were able to not only accommodate but fully cater to my allergies for lunch (down to the gluten free cookie!) I guarantee that everyone on the tour also had a great time too so just go book your ticket already and see for yourself!

Evolution Expeditions was simply exceptional from start to finish. Ashley was our guide and she could not have been better. She has amazing skills that gave us confidence and made the trip unforgettable. She has incredible knowledge about the area and fascinating stories. She really made our trip!!! The best day ever. Me and my boyfriend loved every minute of this experience. The water was very cold but it was very hot out so it was a good combo. The guide was knowledgeable and fun. So much fun!!!

Phenomenal experience. (Went 12/1/2021) Perfect weather! Beautiful views. And request Xander...he rocked. (Make sure he brings the flute!). Top notch outfit. Well run. Low impact and super chill. Can't wait to do it again!! The photos don't do it justice. More beautiful in person!

1st excursion since covid. Felt safe. People wore masks when near other groups/inside van. Ended up going on cloudy day so wasn’t as emerald green as it could have been. Lots of different groups on water so we had to wait our turn but worth the wait. Great staff & overall experience.
